Dallas law aims to bring signs down from
storefronts
The corner convenience store might not
be the first thing that springs to mind
when it comes to cleaning up neighborhood
blight.
But in poorer parts of Dallas, such shops
are frequently plastered front to back
with mini-billboards advertising everything
from cigarettes to Frito pie.
The
new Dallas Convenience Store Safety and Security
Ordinance (#27293),
which went into effect on October 15, 2008,
includes a number of specific requirements
that must be met in order to bring your store
into compliance - panic buttons, video cameras,
employee training, signage, safes, and more.
DallasCStoreCompliance represents
a group of vendors in the security and safety
industry in the Dallas area who can provide
all the sevices and products you need with
just one phone call.
Our professional and state-licensed
vendors will conduct a complete on-site security
survey to determine what you need to come
into compliance, and show how your business
may or may not meet the new law's requirements.
We
will also conduct a full security survey
of your property and operations in order
to show you other issues affecting the security
of your store and your employees not covered
by the ordinance, at no charge to you.
Since
our vendors work as a team, we can make sure
there are no conflicts between the different
pieces of equipment - everything will work
properly after installation.
But most importantly, our
vendors sell and service only quality
safety and security products, specifically
selected for convenience store environments,
at prices you can afford.
Our product
line will help you meet the ordinance's requirements,
without any extras you don't really need
or want.
The
law went into effect on October 15, 2008,to
followed by incremental stages of compliance.
We will work with you to make sure you meet
every deadline and file every document the
law requires.
